WHAT IS MY EXPERIENCE WHEN IT COMES TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL?
My experiences, when i'm inside the court is sometimes i'm getting nervous because i don't know if we will win or not but of course we will do our best to win. Before to start the game, we have to pray and ask for God's guidance and love, to take care of ourselves, to make this competition properly and forceless.
When i was young i don't know how to play volleyball, when i was in grade 6 i started to play that because my brother teach me how to play volleyball. And i learned in grade 8, because all of my friends are player of volleyball so we play everyday to learned something new. On september 1, MIPSS officially opened Intramurals, and st. lorenzo ruiz volleyball girls have 4 games, first game we win, second game we lost, third game we win, last but not the least we lost. So our standing is 2-2. On the time that MIPSS give award, st. lorenzo ruiz volleyball girls is 2nd place. My adviser was so proud, and i thankful of that. Of course we recieve award, even though we're 2nd place, i love what my game is.
We all started with nothing, we also have a lot to learn when we have efforts to do what is good for ourselves. Let's do everything while we are strong, don't give up just trust to the Lord he will give everything to you.
PHENOMENAL
When something is so great, call it phenomenal. It's a solid choice when you want to describe your new favorite thing with more syllables than just "cool."
From a Greek root meaning "appearance," phenomenaldescribes something so awesome and borderline miraculous it really has to actually be seen to be believed. Worthy examples may be the Aurora Borealis, the prowess of Michael Jordan, or the abilities of any given Marvel character blessed by exposure to radioactive materials. However, it's typically used to give positive praise to any person, event or item that seems to transcend the norm.
Alyssa Valdez: The phenomenal volleybelle
Right after her morning training, she comes to the shoot wearing a blue T-shirt that says “Heart Strong,” along with colored denim shorts and slippers, and carrying a training bag.
She exudes a radiant aura while flashing a big smile and saying, “I’m so sorry I’m late, I came from training and a team meeting.” Ateneo women’s volleyball team captain Alyssa “The Phenom” Valdez is genuinely nice on and off the court.
A few minutes later, three young girls, who had been staring at Alyssa from outside the Blue Eagle gym, ask permission to have her photo taken. Without hesitation she agrees. She even gives them a few words of wisdom about achieving goals. This encounter with fans is quite normal for Alyssa.
She admits that her parents are strict. Being the only girl in the family, she spent most of her growing-up years playing with her brothers. Their being athletic spurred her interest in sports.
“I can’t remember if I had any hobby that wasn’t sports-related,” says Alyssa. While her brothers were into basketball, she learned to play volleyball.
What started out as a hobby during her grade school years became a full-blown preoccupation when she entered high school at University of Santo Tomas.
“My coaches were really patient in teaching me,” she recounts. “What I’m really thankful for is that they polished me from scratch and pushed me to do well in every game.”
VOLLEYBALL IS JUST A MORE INTENSE VERSION OF "DON'T LET THE BALLOON HIT THE FLOOR."
